If don’t do this everyday then you make mistakes. The girl in the gallery is a young Israeli soldier, I was so nervous that I made a mess of the camera settings and basically forgot everything I know about photography so the shot wasn’t as good as I hoped for.

It’s been a while….
….since I last posted anything. To be honest I’ve been searching (as ever) for a little inspiration for a new project lasting 53 weeks and I can’t seem to settle on that “one” subject. It’s not for the lack of ideas it’s just that that simply I don’t want to confine myself to one type of motive or one medium or one of whatever…..
Therefore the next few posts will be of things that I’ve been shooting over the past three months. While you read these I’ll be racking my brains for that new “one” subject…..

I had another opportunity to shoot Svenja (can I actually say that without getting into trouble?) a couple of weeks ago. Some were taken with the Edge 80 which is a marvelous lens, even if it is a bit of a b*gg#r to focus manually without “Liveview”.

…. and practicing. I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time, and when the opportunity arose I snapped it up. The Lensbaby “Edge 80” certainly is very different from anything I’ve ever used before and it should help my diminished creativity for the coming 53 weeks….. (There’s a hint in there somewhere)
