Israel Part Four (Colour) – Jerusalem

If don’t do this everyday then you make mistakes. The girl in the gallery is a young Israeli soldier, I was so nervous that I made a mess of the camera settings and basically forgot everything I know about photography so the shot wasn’t as good as I hoped for.

Week 43 – The Eleventh Hour….

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.

Week 23 – Private Kozma

I spent some time with one of my favourite photographers at a local Russian graveyard this week. It sounds like a strange idea and it certainly was eery, but it  proved to be a place of peace and absolute beauty and hence ideal for photography.

Thanks to my wife for the great birthday present, I just hope a little of his talent rubbed off.

The picture is dedicated to Private Kozma who never lived to see his 40th birthday. (My Russian is non-existent so if I’ve misspelt his name please let me know)
