Week 29 – The Bare Naked Ladies

I’ve been thinking of doing a bit of nude stuff for a while now and this is the nearest I’ve got so far. If you’re lucky I might get something more warm-blooded to pose for me in the future, but don’t hold your breath. One thing I can promise you is that it definitely won’t be a “Selfie”

Week 53 – The Northern Lad

EPSON scanner imageWell this is the final week of round two, so I’ve decided to do something a little different. Firstly I’m carrying out the threat that I made around this time last year, hence I’m appearing in my own blog. Secondly this is the first picture that hasn’t actually been taken by me. It was taken by my six-year-old daughter with the big Zenza Bronica!

So the second year of blogging now comes to an end and I must say that I’ve really enjoyed it. Thanks for following!

Week 52 – The Pyramid

It’s not quite over yet…. but it will be soon.

Round three? To be honest I’m not really sure. If I do do it, then it will definitely be in a different manner.
What do you think? Should I stay or should I go?

Week 50 – Old Friends……

EPSON scanner image

Perhaps a little less of the old……

I get the niggling feeling people are getting a bit sick of me sticking a camera in their faces. Never mind I’ve not quite finished yet!

Taken with the Canon EOS 30v and Canon 50mm 1.4 combination on my favourite Fuji PRO 400H film.

Week 51 – Goes round and round …..

Christmas day and all the various ceremonies have been completed, time for a wander with the family ….

Week 40 – She’s always a woman

There’s a song by a man called Billy Joel which I’d like to dedicate to my accomplice in life. It is she around whom my world has turned for the last nineteen years.

It’s called “She’s always a woman” and goes like this:

She can kill with a smile
She can wound with her eyes
She can ruin your faith with her casual lies
And she only reveals what she wants you to see
She hides like a child
But she’s always a woman to me
She can lead you to live
She can take you or leave you
She can ask for the truth
But she’ll never believe you
And she’ll take what you give her as long as it’s free
She steals like a thief
But she’s always a woman to me
Oh, she takes care of herself
She can wait if she wants
She’s ahead of her time
Oh, and she never gives out
And she never gives in
She just changes her mind
She will promise you more
Than the Garden of Eden
Then she’ll carelessly cut you
And laugh while you’re bleedin’
But she’ll bring out the best
And the worst you can be
Blame it all on yourself
Cause she’s always a woman to me
She is frequently kind
And she’s suddenly cruel
She can do as she pleases
She’s nobody’s fool
But she can’t be convicted
She’s earned her degree
And the most she will do
Is throw shadows at you
But she’s always a woman to me

The words “thank you” are inadequate, but they’re all I have!
