Back to Jenny Brown’s point to visit Muffer……
…… and “ere” is Beelitz-Heilstätten if you fancy looking it up.
I’ll probably be back in winter with snow and ice ….
Fuji GA 645 PRO Fujinon 1:4 f=60mm Fuji Pro 400H (Expired)I had the pleasure of accompanying my son and his team to their first major football (that’s soccer for all of you across the pond) tournament this last weekend. We travelled across Germany to a place called Ibbenbüren where this annual event takes place. As you can see most mothers stayed at home!

I’m being very lenient with myself this week, not only am I using the British definition of a week (i.e. Sunday to Saturday, instead of the German Monday to Sunday), but I’m also posting something for the second time (see week 1) albeit from a very different angle.
Not quite the excitement of last week, but nevertheless pretty in a very different way.
Have a good week!
We all have our little vices don’t we!
This is the first real portrait of the year and my thanks go out to my friend for being “Week 8”. It was taken in Neuseddin, a place which in many ways epitomises Brandenburg at this time of year.
If you do know him, then you’ll realise that looks can be very deceiving.
I’d just like to say thank you very much to everybody for the kind words and support given to me after last weeks post. I was a little overawed if I’m to be quite honest as I received more comments, now have more followers and earned more hits in two days than I did for the whole of the previous 53 posts of the past year. I will try to live up to expectations but please don’t be too disappointed if I don’t make it all of the time.
I managed to get home to the north-west of England over the weekend with the family for a short visit. I was hoping I might find a suitable photo opportunity here. Well I wasn’t disappointed!
I nearly called this “Irony” but then I thought the better of it. Suffice to say somethings may, at first glance seem to be a good idea but then if you look closely they turn out to be very different.
