This is Oma (Grandma) in the Stadtpark in the beautiful city of Hamburg.
She says “the best years were my thirties”,
My reply “unfortunately mine are all but gone!”
“You’ve still got your forties to come!”
That’s all very well but if the thirties were the best years, where do we go from here? They say the old thirties are the new fifties. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
P.S. she’ll be ninety-three this year so she ought to know (she’ll kill me if she reads this).

Nothing like the smile of a pretty gal, is there?
Hi, I was just wondering if this picture was copyrighted? Is someone allowed to use this photo?
Yes of course they’re all copyrighted. The picture may only be used with permission but that’s the same for all the pictures on the net unless they’re part of the creative commons.
well, I would like you to visit http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-4-hidden-sisters/268254849939862 as someone by the name of Andrea Lamont has used your photo…..better hurry before they remove it..it’s a hate page and they have stolen your image.
Well thank you very much I shall be onto it straight away! I don’t think my grandmother would be too happy to have this picture stolen.
Thanks again!
You’re welcome 🙂 Beautiful photos, by the way.
Thanks again! Unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to send the good lady a message and I don’t really think it warrants legal action do you?
here is the link to the Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/andrea.lamont.90
You can contact the admin of that page by message and ask them to remove it and ask them to have Andrea Lamont contact you, just in case she is posting elsewhere with your photo.
How do I find the admin?
It looks like they’ve now removed their message link to contact the administrator of that page. If you have a Facebook account, perhaps you could post on their page, addressing the administrator, that there is an account by the name of Andrea Lamont on their page that has illegally used your image. You can ask them to remove the posts as they are responsible for what is posted on their page by other people. The administrator will be able to see your post and see that your message is addressed to them. I have reported the account to Facebook as well.
I’ve commented on her comment, so we’ll see what happens…. Thanks again!
No worries! I have found another comment by this person (and I believe it to be a fake account) back in late May. I have a picture of it if you need it. The person has obviously downloaded the image onto their computer to be able to load it onto their profile pic. If you’d like to have a screen shot of it, let me know. Regards
I think these things happen and you just have to accept it.
Cheers for everything!
The person who posted your picture is unknown to the admin & members of the page your beautiful Oma appeared on.
It is not a hate page but one that has been set up for support for a wonderful family through a difficult time..
We are extremely sorry that you & your family have been dragged into something that you are not even aware of by people who are intent on trying to destroy a loving father.
No problems, best of luck with your cause….
thankyou,
